Hot Pizza Dip

When you need a really yummy appetizer or party food, this dip is always a hit! Layers of melty cheese, cream cheese, and pizza sauce are combined to make a gooey, delicious dip. The best part is that it comes together in under 15 minutes because it's made in the microwave. We love to dip tortilla chips in it, but you could also do breadsticks.

Hot Pizza Dip

Serves 6-8

1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 (8 oz.) jar pizza sauce

2 tablespoons chopped green pepper

2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion

Tortilla chips or bread sticks

Beat together the cream cheese and Italian seasoning. Spread into an ungreased 9-inch microwave-safe pie dish. Sprinkle half of the Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the cream cheese mixture. Top with pizza sauce, remaining cheeses, green peppers, and green onions. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with tortilla chips or bread sticks.

Step-by-step tutorial:

Gather your ingredients. You will need a block of cream cheese, Italian seasoning, Mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, pizza sauce, green pepper, and green onions.

Start by mixing together the softened cream cheese with 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Spread it into an ungreased 9-inch pie dish, then top with half of each of the cheeses.

Pour the pizza sauce over the top and spread evenly. Top with remaining cheeses and sprinkle with the peppers and onions.

Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is nice and melty. Serve immediately. You can reheat as needed.

That stretchy cheese is SO delicious with the sauce and cream cheese layer. Especially on salty tortilla chips! Give it a try!
