Have you ever heard of a "scotcharoo"? Well, it is delicious! It is a great combination of peanut butter, butterscotch, and chocolate with a rice crispy treat! They are so much fun to serve to kiddos in the summer or for an after school snack. I keep mine refrigerated so they are cold, and on a hot summer day it's heaven!
Mother Goose Popcorn
This sweet popcorn is fun to make for different holidays by changing the color. We love to make green popcorn for St. Patrick's Day! It is such a tasty snack or dessert, and is a great surprise in a school lunch too. The sugary coating is unique to any other popcorn I make, and it's addicting! I don't know how this recipe got it's name, but it's been in my family for years.
Peanut Butter Caramel Popcorn
I grew up with a mom who made popcorn balls quite often, so I've always had a sweet tooth for anything including caramel and popcorn. This recipe caught my eye because it's different from all the other caramel corn recipes out there. It includes PEANUT BUTTER. Sound interesting? It is worth a try, especially for your kiddos who enjoy peanut butter and constant snacking!
Lemon Truffle Balls
One of our favorite treats during the holidays is Oreo balls, so I came up with a summer version that is so fresh and fun! It's like eating a little ball of lemon cheesecake, although the powdered sugar coating makes you think of lemon bars. We love them straight from the freezer. The perfect bite-sized little treat for a sweet tooth or school lunch.
