Pepperoncini Roll-ups

Updated: Nov 26, 2021

Are you ready for the perfect, easiest, and most requested appetizer? This is what I'm asked to bring to any get together, and when I make them at Thanksgiving, my family NEVER complains about waiting for dinner to be ready! It's the perfect flavor combination that will surprise you at how absolutely tasty (and addictive) they are. You can become the person in your family or friend group who always brings the most popular appetizer - kid and adult approved!

Pepperoncini Roll-ups

Serves 6-18

1/2 lb. thinly sliced genoa salami

1 carton whipped plain cream cheese

1 jar pepperoncini slices, drained

Lay out the salami slices. Using a knife, spread each with a thin layer of cream cheese. Put a strip of pepperoncini across the middle so the ends poke out off of each side. Roll up the salami slice and place on a plate with the seam side down. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve cold.

Step-by-step tutorial:

Gather your ingredients. You will need thinly sliced genoa salami (I usually get it sliced at the deli counter, but this is another option), a carton of whipped cream cheese, and a jar of sliced pepperoncini's.

Lay out the slices of salami. You can make as many as you need. Place a good amount of pepperoncini slices on some paper towels to drain.

Cover each salami slice in a thin layer of whipped cream cheese.

Top each slice with some pepperoncini slices, leaving a bit hanging off of each end. As you can see, I always leave a few without the pepperoncini slices for the picky kiddos.

Roll up the slices and put the seam side down. The cream cheese acts as a glue to hold them together!

Place onto a serving plate, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

These are best served chilled, and will go so fast. Once you try one, you can't stop eating them!

They couldn't be easier to assemble. Just wait until you see how fast they disappear!
